It costs around £1 million each year to run Discovery Point and Verdant Works museums, and Dundee Heritage Trust receives just 5% of this from public funding. We are therefore very grateful for the support of organisations and individuals whose generosity makes it possible for us to care for our collections, provide an award-winning learning programme and engage people of all ages and backgrounds with Dundee’s inspiring story.

However you choose to support us, your valued contribution will allow us to continue with our aim of preserving and interpreting Dundee’s heritage for future generations.

Leave a Legacy

One of the most effective and personal ways to make a lasting impact on the Trust’s work is to remember our charity in your will.

Legacies can be designated to a particular aspect of our work, such as education, supporting conservation projects, or upgrading our galleries or they can be left to the discretion of the Trust.

Whichever you choose, your generosity and passion for Dundee Heritage Trust will ensure our continued success.

To find out more contact our Development Officer on t: +44 (0)1382 309060 or email us here >

Fundraising events and appeals

We run targeted appeals for specific projects at both venues. Through these appeals, our supporters make a lasting impact on our work.  We recently successfully raised over £40,000 towards the RRS Discovery conservation project in our first crowdfunding appeal.  We also hold large events to raise funds for the Trust.

To discuss your gift with a member of the Development team please call +44 (0)1382 309060

Heritage Partner Scheme

The support of the business community is essential to the continued success of Dundee Heritage Trust. To this end, we provide commercially attractive packages which make sound business sense for a company to sign up to.

Through our Heritage Partnership Scheme your own staff, existing clients, potential customers and visiting dignitaries can all make use of our facilities, giving them a positive, interesting and cultural experience.
