This poignant exhibition acts as a celebration of the work of Dundee Women’s Aid as the charity reaches it 50th anniversary, as well as paying tribute to the role of creativity in the recovery journeys of women in the city who have experienced domestic abuse. Through a showcase of paintings, textile work, poetry and prose, the strength of growth and the comfort of creativity becomes clear – in an exhibition that is as emotional as it is inspiring.
