(28hrs per week at £14.21 per hour)

Role Purpose

We are looking for an enthusiastic, organised and experienced Food & Beverage Supervisor to play a key role in delivering exceptional visitor experiences across our new café 77º South at Discovery Point.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach and motivate front-of-house Food & Beverage teams.
  • Support the induction, training and ongoing development of team members.
  • Create a positive, supportive and high-performing team culture.
  • Lead by example, maintaining high standards of professionalism and customer service.
  • Assist with rota planning and staffing requirements to meet business demands.
  • Run full café operations shifts

Health, Safety & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with food safety legislation, licensing conditions and company policies.
  • Complete operational checks and risk assessments where required.
  • Ensure safe working practices are followed by all team members.

You will be an energetic and organised hospitality professional who enjoys delivering memorable experiences and supporting others to succeed.

Essential Experience

  • Previous experience supervising food and beverage or hospitality operations.
  • Experience coaching, mentoring and developing team members.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and make decisions under pressure.
  • Flexible approach to working evenings, weekends and public holidays.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to exceptional customer service.

Desirable

  • Personal Licence Holder (or willingness to obtain one).
  • Food Hygiene Certificate.
  • First Aid qualification.
  • Experience working within a café
  • Barista experience
