Picturesque views overlooking the RRS Discovery and River Tay. Equipped with a hearing loop, projector and screen, wifi and balcony access.
Host up to 150 people for your perfect large conference, reception dinner or event.
Terra Nova Room
The perfect space for small meetings or as a breakout room. Equipped with an integrated screen.
With room for up to 30 guests, it’s the ideal venue for small to medium sized meetings or workshops.
Falcon Scott Suite & Terra Nova Room Combined
Maximise on space by combining the Falcon Scott Suite and Terra Nova Room. Perfect for larger events.
This space has capacity to host around 180 people, making it perfect for conferences and events with a larger guest list.
Shackleton Room
Named after one of the most famous explorers in the world, this room is great for smaller meetings or as a breakout area with space for around 12 people
Discovery Suite
Enjoy views over the RRS Discovery and Dundee city waterfront, this is perfect location for large group meetings, small conferences and events with capacity for up to 45 people. Fully equipped with an integrated screen and wifi.
Auditorium
Ideal for presentations or welcome addresses, our auditorium provides tiered seating for guests. Equipped with projector screen, wifi and AV support.
Weavers Room
A bright and spacious room, the space is a wonderful example of 19th century architecture; perfect for community meetings and smaller gatherings with space for up to 70 people.
The High Mill
A large, open space with beautiful period architecture, Verdant Work’s High Mill is the perfect backdrop for dinners, drinks receptions, exhibitions and weddings. Combine with the Glazed Alley for a truly unforgettable occasion with capacity for up to 200 people.

FAQs
How do I get to Discovery Point?
By Train: Discovery Point is directly across from the train station! Dundee Train Station is connected via ScotRail and other national rail networks. When exiting the station, walk south towards the waterfront; the museum is directly adjacent to the station.
By Bus: Local and regional buses (such as numbers 22 and 28) frequently stop in Dundee city centre, which is only a short walk away.
By Car: Follow the M90 to Perth then the A90 for Dundee. Follow signs for the city centre and the waterfront. You will find the museum beside the Tay Road Bridge. For the best daily rates and to reserve a parking space in advance, consult JustPark Discovery Point Parking.
How do I get to Verdant Works?
By Car: On entering Dundee you should follow signs for ‘city centre’ and Verdant Works is signposted throughout the city. Enter DD1 5BT postcode in your sat nav. If using the Verdant Works car park, please ensure your vehicle registration number is entered into the system in the café area during your visit. Failure to do so may result in a parking fine being issued.
By train: There are direct trains to Dundee from Perth (about 20 mins), Aberdeen, Stirling (both 65 mins), Glasgow (85 mins) and Edinburgh (90 mins) – Verdant Works is only 15-minute stroll from the train station in Dundee City Centre .
By bus: Buses frequently stop in Dundee city centre such as bus numbers 22 and 28. Buses also run direct to Dundee from around Fife, Forfar, Perth, and Blairgowrie.
