Testimonials

What our clients say

We all had the most wonderful time on the Discovery celebrating my 60th birthday. The young piper was very accommodating, piping us on board and then on the deck to let us have a wee dance. The canapes and drinks were excellent. The tour guide was extremely informative and well-researched, and the dinner was absolutely delicious. The service was also first class. Many thanks for making our family party so memorable.

I arrived with my colleagues for a 4 hour course. The staff that looked after us were very attentive friendly and professional. I feel like I could spend a week in Discovery Point and still want more! I enjoyed this building because it made me feel welcome.

Participated in a seminar at their conference hall. The view and amenities are good, and the service was on par. Really enjoyed my time there.

Event FAQs

What is your maximum capacity?

Capacity depends on which spaces you hire for your event, and how you would like these spaces set up. Our maximum capacity is 150 at Discovery Point or 200 at Verdant Works. A comprehensive breakdown of capacities for different events and layouts is available on request.

Do you provide catering? Can I bring in external caterers for my event?

We do provide in-house catering which is sustainable and locally sourced, including buffet lunches, formal dinners and refreshments during conferences. Unfortunately, we do not allow external caterers to be brought in for events and have strict policies on organisers catering for their own event with pre-packaged food.

How do I secure my booking?

To secure your booking, you must confirm the rough details of your event with a member of our team. Our friendly Conferences and Events team will discuss your booking contract and deposit payment with you, so you’ll be informed every step of the way.
