Sharing Your Stories of Jute in Dundee
As we celebrate 30 years of Verdant Works Museum, we would love for you to share what Verdant Works means to you, and what your connections to jute in Dundee are. Your stories will be shared with our visitors and our online audience, in a series of short videos and interviews that capture Verdant Works today, and the juteopolis legacy in our city.
Whether you were involved in turning Verdant Works mill into a museum in the 1990s; or you’ve been a lifelong visitor of the museum; or you’ve volunteered with us; or you’re a former millworker; or your ancestors and family members worked in the mills, we would love to hear from you as part of our exhibition The Fabric of Dundee, which opens on 16 September 2026.
