Discovery Mast Climb – Magnus

In case you’re into adventures, you can now climb the mast of the RRS Discovery. Husband got this as a birthday present and had such a good time that I also went to have a go, two weeks later. We thought it was great – the whole experience felt very safe; you’re with a team of friendly climbing instructors who know what they’re doing and will help. The views from the mast over the river are stunning… It will also change the way you think about the sailors who worked on these ships for a living.
